Drone Mapping, Photography, & Video
Mapping with Drones is a simple yet in-depth course for new professionals and amateur drone pilots that want to learn the basics of aerial photography, videography, and mapping. Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS), also known as drones, provide high spatial resolution, mobility, and exceptional photographic quality, lending themselves to various aerospace applications for industry. Professionals in the fields of Construction, Agriculture, Surveying, Public Safety, Real Estate, Photography, and more will benefit from this hands-on, application-intensive, introductory course. Participants in this course will gain the confidence and skills to explore the world of drone technology beyond the classroom. In accordance with FAA regulations for operating drones, students must be at least 16 years old; able to read, write, speak, and understand English; and be in a physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone.
** This is NOT an FAA Part 107 preparation class **
